Collection: MADUNA
From the MADUNA photographic project comes the line of handcrafted jewelry dedicated to ceramic and cement floors, which spread in private buildings and Sicilian churches between the 17th and 19th centuries. At the center of the research are majolica.
The term Maiolica has Spanish origins, Maiorca, and indicates a tile , often hand-painted. During the period of Spanish rule, Sicilian artisans perfected the production techniques and decorative designs, leading majolica to be appreciated and requested throughout the Mediterranean.
