The Research

FROM PHOTOGRAPHY TO JEWELRY DESIGN
My jewels are pieces of a journey. In each jewel there is a bit of my history, made of contaminations between ART, ARCHITECTURE and PHOTOGRAPHY.
For passion and for work my eyes are constantly attracted by details : the majolica coverings of the ancient Sicilian noble palaces, the mixed marbles of the baroque churches, the small and colourful flowers of the spontaneous vegetation capture me and become the subjects of my photographs .
And it is from this research that the MADUNA and FLEURS collections are born, projects in continuous evolution. Brass dialogues with my tiles, a material with a warm heart that goes well with the nuances of our island.
Brass is also at the heart of the MIRAR line, inspired by ancient Sicilian jewellery, where ceramic tiles take the place of the precious stones that embellished ancient ornaments.
